Dubai International Airport (DXB) is one of the best connected in the world, offering flights to more than 230 international destinations spread over all the inhabited continents. All these destinations drew 88 million passengers through the doors of DXB in 2017.This makes it the world’s third-busiest airport, handling both more Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 flights than anywhere else. Major destinations include JFK, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro, London, Frankfurt and Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG). Air France flies the Dubai-Paris route on a non-stop basis. CDG is Air France’s major hub airport, making it an excellent place to connect to most of Air France’s network of more than 200 routes all over the world.

Dubai International Airport is reached from the centre of Dubai by the E11/D70 or the D78/D89. The 13km journey can be covered in 10 to 26 minutes. All three terminals have their own dedicated parking areas, none of which are more than 12 minutes’ walk from their respective terminal.

Public transport centres on the Dubai Metro and local buses. The Metro Red Line serves terminals 1 and 3. From Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station it’s a 25 minute ride. Trains run approximately every 5 to 7 minutes. The Green Line stops at the Airport Free Zone station, from where it’s a 15 minute journey via the 25 and 31 buses to Terminal 2. From the terminus at Creek station to the Airport Free Zone station it takes 39 minutes and service frequency is roughly every 5 to 6 minutes during most of the day. The Green line runs from 5.30am to midnight Saturday to Wednesday, 5.30am to 1am on Thursday and 10am to 1am on Friday. Red Line times are identical except for a 5am start Saturday to Thursday.

The C01 bus drops you about four minutes’ walk from Terminal 3, the number 33 will take you to Terminal 1 Arrivals and the number 31 goes to Terminal 2 Departures.
